Groupon Ski Deal

    Hi Rew,

I have never heard of that place, but seems like a good deal. Only problem is that they offer 4 night breaks, but ryanair only fly to turin on sundays so you would have to do the 7 night option.

I have traveled before with activity breaks and they do a package like that but its easier to get to because its near bergamo and ryanair fly to milan bergamo everyday.
Its basically the same package - http://www.activitybreaks.com/product/20821/montecampione-skiing-holiday-in-italian-alps-at-hotel-armonia/ :D

No probably should have, looks good, was tough to research the area in the 24h before the dela expired. Bigest worry is that the hotel is a fairly remote location, couldn't find any info on busses/taxies if you miss the ski lift home.

we booked a large group of us to go. we rang the company in relation to the price they were offering, the last two deals they had-quoted a price of 599 for a quad room for 2 people(300 euro each person) and then 599 for 4 people in a room(meaning 150 per person)
we rang in relation to this price on three occasions and they told us if thats what the groupon offer quoted then they would uphold that price so we booked 15 spots, (a few quads rooms and a few rooms for 4)
we paid a deposit for each of the rooms an are now awaiting a reply or confirmation email fromt the company-intresting to see if they will uphold the prices-it could be the deal of the ski year, i think they may have made a type error when placing the deal on groupon, what do you think?

We used to walk to the centre of the village when we were there it takes about 3-4 mins, it is a tiny little bridge over the river between the village and the hotel - we have been 3 times now, at the end of last ski season and twice during the summer. we only found it in March; staff are so friendly we keep going back.

i guess that would push me into a week; any excuse will do - we are all going for 2 weeks to cover Christmas and New Year; we're hooked. It's funny because we don't usually go the same place over and again but other guests said the same thing to us - you go once and then you want to go again.

The price is most certainly guaranteed. Please read the Groupon Fine Print immediately under the photo of the resort at the top of the offer "Groupon valid for 1 person, may buy multiple as gifts. Valid for occupancy of 2, 4 or 6 people. 2, 4 or 6 vouchers required to complete booking." It is 599 per person for 7 nights, including dinner, bed and breakfast, ski hire, lift passes and you get 40% off drinks in the bar.
