hi everyone. today i changed my ford mondeo mk3 dash cluster as the rev counter was not working. when i took it out the mileage was 116000 plus. now its 93000 on replacement from scrap yard. does anyone know why this is and wat would have caused this. i am not exactly complaining though as i rather my new mileage. could it have just been another fault.

There is an issue when you go to sell the car as the cluster is not displaying the correct mileage of your car.

Easy to remedy that. Go to a mileage correction place and they will do it for ya

Not really an issue at all until you sell the vehicle. You have to disclaim it to the potential buyer.

And expect funny looks when it goes for a N.C.T.

This, and keep a track of the ACTUAL milage of the car, just to keep on top of proper maintenance
