EPSON STYLUS PHOTO RX620

I have one of these, but no software to install. now I downloaded a driver or something off the site... but nothing happens then. I just want my printer to work.. cos under the add a printer stuff in all dont work.
HELP.. Ive tried everything on other forums can someone help???

Are you using vista or windows 7? If either of those the printer should work according to the chart on the epson site (plug & play). Just plug USB cable into printer & computer, press power on and let it install. If your in XP write back

Im windows XP.. Seriously.. have tried everything that anyone has said.. drivers installed inall... bt nothing happened like... weird or what?

Try another USB cable, its worth a shot, seen them acting up before, when you plug the printer into the computer does nothing show up in device manager?

Yes..it says the name of it in the bubble.. but then it saying installing new hardware... but doesnt have soemthing.... then when ya add it manaually ya know the way u select epson.. the printer model is not there..

the found new hardware wizzard... I sellect install the recommended one.... andthe name of the printer is there with a yellow question man.. so it tells me to wait while the wizard installs.
Then it says: it cant install it cso the wizard cant find the software... keeps telling me to use a CD ROM>

then i get the bubble saying ur new hardware may not work properly...

Turn off the printer, go into control panel>Add remove programs, remove epson drivers, reboot computer. Now re run the setup you downloaded from epson, wait until it asks to plug in hardware, turn on printer, see if any joy. Also make sure any other printer driver software is uninstalled, sometimes they can conflict!

ok did all that.. still no joy.. same thing over and over again.. its telling that new hardware and name of the printer.. jsut wont set up.. GRRRR

Can anyone link me up.. As to what I shud be downloading.. all of it etc....
im on XP. So I jsut want it to run and recoqnise the printer... its an all in on... after buying it... will scream the place down if i cant get it to work

Download the epson driver fo windows XP, Linked here: here. Now plug in printer, in the found new hardware wizard click "Have disk", or Have CD Rom. Not point to the following directory: "c:\epson\epson11328." and click ok. Your printer driver should install, let me know if that works, then we'll tackle the scanner driver

thnx so much.. for some reason I downloaded that.. and then it just gave me a message to say it was now configured.. didnt need to do the whole install hardware busines.. thanks YOYO. much appreciated.
