Looks fine. Price is about right too. Customs may be a problem though?

There's a pre-owned 1998 model on adverts as a heads up for €1,500. It's gaining 50 seconds a day so would need a service. I think it was bought from one of the 'revered' japanese ebay sellers initially.

I've pretty much stopped buying from the US as the last 2 I received got hammered by customs. It's a good price, but if you end up paying duty, then it's not that great. Ask the seller, as they may be willing to 'work with you ;)' on the shipping options. In my experience USPS has been best for not getting hit.

There are always Speedies knocking around TZ. If I were you, I'd hold my horses and wait for a decent one to pop up there.

As mentioned above, customs and import duty are an absolute stinger. They would put a decent value on a watch like that and hit you with a serious bill.

Yeah I figured that import duty would be a big problem. Thanks for the advice guys.
