Good price, no hrm though (a big miss), interesting to see if it takes off!

The Soleus GPS 1.0 has everything you will need, and nothing you don’t. Simple and easy to use, the Soleus GPS will allow runners to accurately track their speed and distance. Auto lap splits at every mile and the night light mode helps for late night runs and training. Soleus GPS 1.0 uses global positioning satellites orbiting miles above the Earth to help consumers navigate their runs, walks or hikes.
Consumers can also use the Soleus GPS 1.0 to track the number of calories burned during their daily workouts. Last but not least, Soleus GPS 1.0 has a compact design which makes it one of the smallest GPS watches on the market today for your wrist.

It'd be interesting to see independent reviews on it, nothing yet from DC Rainmaker. If nothing else, it might get Garmin to reduce the prices on their newer stuff. £300 for a 610 is bordering on the ridiculous.

It's competitively priced with the Forerunner 110 ($34 in the difference). Functionally, it seems similar also. Not much point comparing it to the price of a 610 (which is definitely priced way above its usefulness, but is a slightly more reasonable $350 in the US (€256)).

I asked them the HRM question on Twitter earlier, wonder where they'll pitch the price?

@DomHoran Yes we do have a new HRM model coming out late October/November and also a GPS with HRM included for Spring 12!
