The Canal Court in Newry is close to the border with a swimming pool and its a nice hotel

Rathmullen House in Donegal. Superb hotel, lovely pool, great restaurant, family (and dog) friendly. Not exactly near the border, but we visited the giants causeway and Bushmills from there.
