    Nice animal..
I had the same hassle last week end with a 150 pound fallow buck...
I ended up tying his four legs together and putting the tied legs at the back of my neck and lifting him up like doing squats in the gym..It ws the only way I could get him in the back of the jeep

    Punctuation, it was a joke.
Nice Stag, never hunted in my life but like the idea of a freezer full of deer meat. Are they hard to prepare?

    Mot really.

A sharp knife, a good saw and a Steel Knife sharpener.

After that a clean table and Ziplock bags, or a vac packer if you are "posh"

Took me and my friend all our effort to haul a 24 stone (150kg) red hind up the 3ft into the back of my landrover. To make matters harder we had to haul another huge one in and over that one bout half an hour later

On my list of things to buy is a small 12v for the back of the wagon

59kg - You need to start working on your squats Clean & Press in the gym :D
    Kidding nice animal.
Would a slide out ramp be of benefit on the back up of the pick up for you guys...

Deer can be an awkward lift.
I'm preparing to get mny 1st Big red soon and this has occured to me.
I would saw in half if needs be.
I have a 22" hacksaw that slices through bone and hide.

I hope to get Daithi55 to make up my winch so I can gralloch in the field as gravity always helps.

The brother has a Teleporter which may be used also

For moving large weight a mechanical aid is always appreciated.
The biggest Fallow I ever shot on my own near killed me to drag him 1/2 mile uphill, Harder drag females as antlers are natural handles.

And always have a "phone a friend" if at all possible.
    I often rang my mates
"Tell them you have broke down and need a tow :D "

That was my first thought, c.60kg isn't that heavy if you know how to lift it right.
