Best place to print?

    Hi all,

I was given a short two-paragraph William Wordsworth assignment to write for my English tutorial.

I am thinking of printing it on campus and was wondering where would be the best place to get it printed?

I heard rumours that the Arts block printer ain't that good so I'm not sure if I will get it printed there.

I know it costs money too and I'm fine with that because I've got plenty to spare.

    Thanks

    Karaokeman

Have you tried the SU shop in the arts block, there's PCs and printers in there.

On the matter, where's the cheapest to print on campus? :)

Hey Kareokeman, I have that assignment too. Are you EN152A?

First lesson of college, befriend people who can print for free. I befriended myself :P

My friend can print for free, but I'd feel rude asking her :pac:

I can print for free, but if I asked myself I don't think I'd let me. :( Some friend I am...

Also, I thought the first rule of college was to make friends with someone living on campus? :pac:

Don't go to the bloody library, that's for sure. Bought a printing card there the last day (€3) and got another one "cus sure I'll always have it". I have about a third of one card left now, and not enough print-outs to justify it:/

So I finally caved and bought an ink cartridge:P

1st RULE: You do not talk about NUIM.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about NUIM!

Any and every printer here is the bane of my life. I hate them. The only one I can work is the one in the library that prints off USB sticks, which means converting the document to PDF first, and it wrecks my head every time. I don't even know what the Computer Centre ones are like, am in second year but never set foot there. Bottom line - buy a printer

    Rant over :o

The PACR ones are handy enough to use actually! Send your doc to the printer, go to the computer next to the printers, stick in your wee card, select your doc, and that's it :D

You make it sound so easy. The problem is technology hates me. I'd probably end up printing the internet

Try Rye Hall. The card system works well. I think the Library is a bit expensive? The NUIM website has all the info up there that you should need.

As far as I'm aware the SU shop in the Arts block offers the cheapest printing on campus. Definitely the cheapest colour printing, but why would you be printing assignments in colour? :pac:
Anyways, it's dead handy to use as well, you can buy print cards at the till up at the front, then wander down and print to your heart's content. :)

Where do you buy the print cards for the PAC Rooms

There's little red vending machines on the walls where you buy the card. They're at the back wall on the right in the rye hall one, and just as you walk in the door in the arts block PACR.
