Right so i'm sending my passport up to the Thai Embassy to get a Visa stamped on it.

I'll obviously send it up registered.

They advise to get teh return envelope registered too. Wondering is that possible? I thought if I sent something registered, that the post office would then take it off your hands, hence can start traceability.

Query basically is, can I register a return envelope?

ya i'd say so, just go to post office, pay the amount and enclose the sticker with the self addressed envelope

You probably just need to give them the fee, they have all the stickers and shit beside their franking machine.
You'd need to confirm this though so write them a letter asking them what their procedure is. I would recommend you send this letter by registered post in case they deny receiving it.
