    Hi all,

Instead of building a raised patio area, i have put in a proper foundation, so if we ever decide to build an extension/conservatory, the ground work is already done. i thought it would be a waste of time, effort and money to just do the raised patio. Pipes for radiators etc all in there, and radon barrier, floor insulation all sorted

i'm thinking of decking the area, to finish it off but not sure what to do with the blockwork, if i should lay another row of blocks to raise it to close it off a little then, these would have to be knocked in part for a door if i went ahead with an extension at some stage. I was thinking of decking the floored area, and then making a raised seating wall of decking on top of the block work.

anyone have some idea's ?? concrete part is roughly 16ft long by about 10ft
trying to up-load a pic but not workig at moment

    cheers
