I'm 21 and have never had a job before. The reason I have never had a job is because I am quite shy especially around people I meet fo the first time.

I'm in my final year of college doing a Honours degree in Business at the minute so I really need to sort my CV out for potential employers.

The problem being is that I've never had a job before so the work experience section in my CV just looks bad because I just have my Transition Year work experience listed.

Anyone have any ideas on what I should do?

The reason you never had a job is because you're shy ? Sounds like you didn't really want a job, if you want something enough you'll usually get it.

On your CV you should make a big deal about your TY work experience.

Between now and summer try to find a job, and also get involved in an active (social) hobby, especially one that is competitive such as sports.

You should also line up something to do during the summer.

Concentrate on transferable skills, like if you have been involved in something in college (clubs/societies/Students' Union etc.). Involved in any sports at home? Any organisational experience? Any volunteer work? Any group project work? If you weren't working but were doing things at home (farming for example) perhaps emphasise any skills you used doing this, like negotiation/planning/delegating?

But I would advise getting out there and get a job during the summer as mentioned. Especially considering you're looking at the business world.

You need to be able to pad out your CV, so do whatever you can to get some experience.

I highly recommend you look on outsourcing websites like scriptlance.com and look for anything you can do (e.g. proof reading, writing a document, etc.) and sign up to do it for free or next to nothing just so you can put whatever little jobs you do as experience on your CV.
