I want to be able to send my monthly free web texts from my android phone while I'm out, but the default browser always gives me the mobile version of the site for obvious reasons. If I install another separate browser (like Firefox) is it possible to access the normal version of the site so I can log in and send my 300 free web texts a month ?.

    Thanks in advance.

The other guys have already answered your texting question. But if you want to browse to websites without always getting the mobile version download Dolphin Browser. There's a setting in it to set the User Agent to desktop. If the User Agent is set to mobile the web server will detect that and serve you up a mobile version if it's available.

The User Agent setting isn't available in the Firefox Android app.

For desktop useragent you can also try Boat Browser or Opera. Boat Browser is probably the fastest browser on the market

Is there not an option in internet settings to disable the mobile version of websites in the default browser? For example it should allow you go to www_awebsite_com as opposed to m_awebsite_com
