Alcohol Manufacturing Laws

So I've been trying to dig up some information on Alcohol Manufacture/Production in Ireland, and can't seem come up with much....

Any information anyone has would be much appreciated...

Like whether or not a special license is needed to produce alcohol (i'm assuming one is, you need a license to even look at liquor in this country!), and whether or not it's different from a bar license?

And whether one would be needed if there were no fermentation or distillation involved in the process i.e. already produced alcohol would be used, with the permission of the distiller obviously.

    Cheers!
