Looking for tyre/wheel advice

I drive a 10 year old Corolla hatchback. Until a recent smash, it was fitted with 17 inch alloys.

The front driver side alloy was pretty much destroyed in the crash and I've temporarily replaced it with a BMW 17 inch rim since I could not source a replacement Toyoya alloy.

It is a bit wider than the others, plus the tyre is quite bald, so need to find a better solution.

What is the most cost-effective solution for me? I don't care so much about how the car looks anymore. Should I just buy two new wheels and tyres for the front? Or is it important that all four wheels be the same?

    Any help much appreciated.

Check out adverts.ie for some cheap alloys, or a local breakers yard might have some scrap alloys
