Could anybody recommend a storage unit for a wetroom that won't warp or rot. I could have something built in but don't know what material to use but something free standing would be fine also. Thanks in advance.

I assume you are looking for something for storage more than 1m away from the shower head. From my experience, I think the main thing is to keep it up off the ground. Hardly any material will rot if it is able to drain.

However, it does need to be easy to clean.

I wouldn't have anything free-standing if I could avoid it. Apart from anything else, it makes the floor harder to clean.

I got a wall unit in Woodies, with a sliding mirror door on the front. It is a regular bathroom unit. It is fine.

I think the Ikea units would be fine too if they fit (sizes were a bit awkward for my bathroom). If you can sink part or all of the unit back into the plasterboard, that can work well too.

For under the shower, I have black wire baskets (from Ikea bathroom section) to hold bottles of shampoo, cleaning materials, sponges and so on. It is very practical.

Ikea do a good toilet roll holder which has a cover to protect the paper from spray.

Make sure to have a fan to keep your wet room from being too steamy.
