Assignment no.68 - Autumn Light

Hi all,

Hopefully the sun breaks through the clouds enough in the next two weeks to allow for some nice shots!

The rules:
-Photos must be posted within 2 weeks of the day the task was set– so the closing time/date is midnight on Tues 11th October going on 12th October 2011.
-No old photos. Only photos taken with this task in mind qualify.
-Therefore, the photo must be taken after 10:40am on the 27th Sept 2011.
-Photos must be on the given task.
-ONE photo per post. But submit as many posts as you like.
-Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.
-The next task/subject is to be chosen by the person who has the most thanks after their post at the closing date/time (the post must include a photo).

Don't bother checking the exif data on this - its not a photograph! But I did produce it last night - does it qualify for the competition?

If it is an image produced within the time span allowed - my view is that it is totally acceptable.

One of the guidelines as set out at the outset is

'Stretch yourself – there is no limitation to what you can do to produce the image.'

No holds barred as far as I can see.... but then attracting 'thanks' is an entirely different issue:)

Is it a 3d model?! It's really excellent.

No - its a scan from an Epson flatbed scanner. I got the idea from an article in Amateur Photographer about the photographer Janet Dwyer who makes pictures (or scanograms as they call them).

Its my first effort and not a great one but I can see myself trying it again :-)
