I'm moving to celbridge with my 2 children ds 8 months and dd 6 years. I'm looking at 2 houses at the moment... Primrose gate and walled gardens. I wonder if anyone has an opinion on either? In particular....
Are there other kids to play with?
Primrose gate is lovely and modern, but is it mainly populated with working professionals ie no kids out playing during the day?
The house in Walled gardens seems lovely, but quite small?

    Any opinions are gratefully accepted,
    Cheers

I think your initial feelings are correct

Primrose gate is quite new and probably a lot of young couples etc...I have heard complaints about groups of kids hanging around the tesco part of the estate so that would indicate that there are kids!!

The houses are of the recent 'on street, no front garden' type

Walled Gardens are a smaller, older house with more traditional garden

they are on different sides of the town so perhaps you might consider:

which schools the kids will go to?

if you commute, how you intend travelling?

there isa more specific Celbridge forum also:

Primrose Gate is out on the Hazelhatch Road, no?
The Walled Gardens is within walking distance of the shops, schools, pubs etc.
I've lived in the Walled Gardens for over 6 years and am very happy there.
