I have looked around for buses to the college and the most suitable one was taking the 75 from stillorgan to dun laoghaire then the 7 to the college. Im not familar with buses but with looking at the timetables I wasnt clear at what time it will arrive at the stillorgan stop, for example there is one that leaves tallaght at 7.50 but when will it actually be at the stop I want? (Stop number 5045)

From calculating and looking around its the best way to get to college as it takes an hour which I will arrive at 9.20 from the times on the website.
So Im wondering is there any other easier way to get to the college?

145 or 84 from stillorgan towards kilmacanogue/bray, get off at cherrywood, walk about 200meters and change to the 7 towards city center.
46a to Dun Laoghaire, 7 to sallynoggin.
114 from Sandyford to Blackrock, 7 to Sallynoggin.

None of those routes pass by the OP's bus stop (5045). In particular he'd have an awful long walk to the N11 to pick up the the 145 or 46A

75 to Dun Laoghaire, then 7 to Sallynoggin.

I know they don't, but he did say he was leaving from stillorgan in the op, its not that far a walk.

taking the 75 to dun laoghaire then the 7 is a short walk of about 5 minutes to the stop for bus 7.So its the best to get to college.

I thought there would be someone who uses the route to explain how frequent the bus is.

    P.S im a girl

I know they don't, but he did say he was leaving from stillorgan in the op, its not that far a walk.

She did give the specific stop number too to be fair.

OP - only the 75 buses marked "v" serve that stop. All other 75 services operate from stop. Otherwise you will need to walk to Bus Stop No. 2879 on the Upper Kilmacud Road, Opposite Marsham Court.

The 75 buses are allowed 2 hours to get from Tallaght to Dun Laoghaire in the mornings (0720 and 0750 departures), but I'd guess they would pass that stop at about 0815-0820 and 0845-0850 and then take about 25 minutes to get to Dun Laoghaire. However schools traffic will be in full swing at that stage and they make take longer.

The best way you can check is tomorrow morning log onto www.dublinbus.ie/rtpi and using the stop number check the times that the 75 is due towards Dun Laoghaire. That will give you the live times.

From Dun Laoghaire - allow about 15 minutes to get to Sallynoggin. Both the 7 and 75 serve stop 2035 on Clarence Street (stop after the crossroads at the bottom of York Road) allowing an easy 1 stop change.
