My boyfriend went back to college last week and will be recieving the back to education allowance at €188. Does this increase to his allowance affect mine?…

To all HI,

I have questions concerning my payments from the social welfare.

I live with my boyfriend and we were getting €156 each week, as well as our rent allowance.

My boyfriend went back to college last week and will be recieving the back to education allowance at €188. Does this increase to his allowance affect mine?

I'm kinda struggling atm with bills, and i really only have €20 left each week so any reduction in my amount would have a massive effect on me.
I was also wondering if my rent allowance will change?

any help would be much apprechiated!
