Gonna be a weak team put out by harry
1:He doesnt give to ****s about the competition (the europa league not the opposition )
2: Spurs - Arsenal is on Sunday so he will have a eye on that

Think ill go for draw half time -Spurs full time, not great odds but better than the current unbackable 1/8 in Powers and Boyles:eek:

Theres gonna be a lot of Spurs players weve never heard of here. Redknapp won't take a single first team player to this game with the big London derby at the weekend. Plus he doesnt care about this competition.

spurs will still win by 4 or 5 basically playing against a non league team even without there 1st team players

Does Harry not have to pick from the squad that he submitted to UEFA at the start of the Group Stages ?

I'm not Irish but you guys seem to underestimate Irish teams. Shamrock only lost 1-0 away to Copenhagen and drew twice against Partizan, and I'm sure they underestimated Rubin. Hearts managed a draw against Spurs... under 2.5 might be a good bet.

It's the deluaded Irish attitude. Sure I've been hearing people saying Shamrock Rovers, Derry, and Sligo couldn't compete in the Football Leagues in England. I'd say with the teams they have now they'd be challenging for League 1/Struggling Championship.

He's said Lennon and Pavlyuchenko will play and probably Pienaar and Danny Rose too. Prices reflect the respective levels of the teams and the likely outcome for me is a Spurs two or three goal win. Rovers will be well organised and will play their 451 Euro formation which has served them well so far.

Spurs are obviously at a higher level even with their second string, however, I'd prefer to watch than have a bet given the odds.

Their a league team! Irish premier!

Same "non league" team that defeated Partizan away in belgrade, and single goal away losses to Juventus last year (del piero cracker) and Copenhagen this year. Knocked out the Estonian champions this year and won away in Tel Aviv last year.

They are a professional side for sure. Those on the books officially as semi-pro actually train full time alongside the officially Full time players. They are leagues ahead of the Non league clubs in England. As is their support and club structure.

Hoping for a good fair game and for my leagues champions to give a good account of themselves yet again.

Hahahaha, utterly laughable. How do you reconcile that belief with their European progress?

As for betting the romantic in me like Rohan Ricketts to score anytime 16/1 at betfair.

It's funny how far an Irish club can come and just because their in the Irish league people write them off at every single chance, be proud of a team from your country accomplishing so much ffs. I bet yu'v never even watched an Airtricity league match.

I hope Rovers do themselves justice and don't let Spurs run away with it. If they rip into them from the start it could be very interesting.

I think "Post Colonial Syndrome" is still alive and well in some quarters of Irish life. Sad folk really! Just shows you how marketing / consumerism pulls weak people away from supporting their own communities first. :(

I thought this was a betting forum. The rovers fans are giving grief everywhere. The spurs supporters club board had to shut a thread because of the grief the Rovers fans where giving the guys there.

Really you guys should be looking forward to what is a momentus occasion for your club and League of ireland in general and not worrying about us guys losing our money ;)

they are a dire team look at first 2 goals no marking in box you would think they learn from pav but no defoe does it 2 mins lata

Never like to see someone lose me or the bookies win but I am absolutely delighted that you lost your money just for being so ignorant.

you would think spurs would have know how to cover a man in the wall or the man loitering at the edge of the box, basicallly the oldest tricks in football:confused:
anyway how do you think goals come about? do you think being a striker is just putting it in the net, there is a reason they paid the equivanent to 10 years of shams turnover for defoe (20 years for pav), you dont score goals with a man in your way so the striker must also get rid of his marker.
you attitude changed from "easy" win to "lucky," it wasnt lucky, despite shams' heart spurs were clearly better and deserved their win

anyway this is a betting forum, we are both probably in breach of the chater here, i dont normally post in soccer but you holding up 1 loi game as reference of standard for the league pissed me off (irish league is the Northern Ireland league-anyone else see matty burrows goal last year?-before it is slagged too). i could similarly hold up a sunderland - man city game i was at and say the feed in the box before it was the best part and therefore the epl is **** but i dont judge a league of 1 game, same way irish league isnt at league of ireland's level and shams arent a epl team but are definately above conference... give credit where is it due
