Crocodile turns bright orange

    An Australian croc turned bright orange after chewing on a water filter, causing keepers to freak out about its health. Seems that the croc is perfectly fine, though:

    Speaking of crocodilians, here's an interesting bit of trivia: the Spectacled Caiman is the only crocodilian known to change color (naturally, that is), although this ability is very limited compared to say, that of a chameleon or a cephalopod. The caiman changes color by rearranging the distribution of black pigment in its cells.
