strange insect

    Could somebody tell me what this is? looks like a spider, but has 5 legs.. and walks weird. it was what looked like cleaning its legs, then stretched its legs out. weirdest thing I have ever seen! 2vah3sk.jpg

    No, it stretched its legs out like that, its laying there flat on the wall, legs twitching... legs seem different length too

    It is a Harvestman which is an arachnid as are spiders.

    This one has lost some legs.

    The resting posture is probably for camouflage purposes
