Advice on buying a new TV

Hay guys looking at buying a new tv, my question is whether to go for LED, LCD or Plasma???

Now I do like my crisp clear display which would seem to suggest I go with LED but Ive noticed that LCD and Plasma deliver decent performance when playing bluray(which I will also be buying).

Am I best to safeguard and future proof for the increasing numbers of HD chanels that are becoming available or is it not worth it?

From the models Ive been looking at the difference I'd be spending between LED and LCD/Plasma is around 200e which I dont mind as long as its worth it!

Opnions, own experience or technical talk welcome :D

Not much advice to offer but an "LED" panel is just a LCD panel that is back lit (actually edgelit in all but the most expensive panels) with LED's instead of cold cathodes. If you are into blurays and using alot of high quality HD sources then I would suggest a samsung 8000 series Plasma. The LED edgelit LCD's suffer from alot of light bleeding and are fine for tv but could ruin your bluray experience. LED backlit(as opposed to edgelit) LCD's suffer no such light bleeding issues.
