    If I am supposed to have expensive airsoft guns and other equipment delivered today, yet I have college which I wont miss. Will delivery man leave a note to go and pickup in local PO?

    They will probably leave a note. Depending on the carrier it will advise you of a collection depot you can call to (bring ID) or you may be asked to notify them of a time when you will be in to reschedule the delivery

    An post will leave a letter.
    UPS, Fed ex and all the couriers will ring you before delivery if you listed your number on your order.

    *god I'm on first name basis with the couriers in Cork at this point almost.*
