I was comparing Meg's bearing of her soul, trying to get change, to when Quagmire just let Brian have it of why he's such a douchebag; and how little Meg's one resonated with me. It just felt like complaining; even though it was supposed to have more weight (Meg needs to be a punching bag for the good of the family). Maybe it's just the characters involved, but overall i just wasn't entertained at all. Not a huge fan of the hallucination scenes either, although i'm sure other people would love it.

How Soon Is Now

The standard has been pretty ****e for a good while now. Yet everyone will still say its great and funnyest thing on tv why they have to lie i have no idea. If you see Family guy mentioned in a mag review wise or tv guide section always rated high.

Just watched episode 3. I don't remember seeing an episode so dark and serious and was surprised at the ending

when Quagmire crushed and killed Jeff against the tree it wasn't done as a joke and then it just ended very coldly. Quite brutal for Family Guy

Yeah it was a bit of a weird episode alright but I suppose it was their Halloween one so presumably thats why it was darker rather than funny.

The serious tone of the last episode didn't work for me at all. Absolute ****e. Hopefully they'll pull the finger out, or pull the plug soon.

I see that FG tried to do a serious episode, but why the jokes then; but i was hoping for a fun halloween episode and i got a real bring-down offering. People don't watch FG to get whatever message they were trying to send here. A massive miss

yeah, thank God! This season has been very poor - last night's episode was really enjoyable. Although I'm very partial to the stewie and brian episodes; and basically the BTTF2 plot! But it might've just been revisiting the early episodes, i was constantly entertained and some funny jokes in there. v happy to see FG back on form; hopefully the trend lasts

Has been a terrible season overall. Most of the recent episodes have been laugh free zones with Brian and Stewie barely featured at all.

I turned it off half way through the last episode; dont often do that but it was bloody crap.

Yeah FG can be really funny, but more often than not it's been massive misses this season. Same as last year. Thanksgiving bring-down, wife-battery etc....whatever Seth MacFarlane's trying to do, it's failed miserably.
