So basically at the moment i'm skint and saving up for new monitors but untill then i'm using a pair of senheiser hd201s.

Anyone else mix on headphones often? I finding that what i'm hearing through these is exactly what i'll be hearing in I-Tunes so is it better to mix through these?.

Mixing on good 'phones is going to be better than mixing on cheap monitors for sure. I worked that way for years and still fine tune on phones. If your music is mostly going to be listened to on phones then you're mixing to suit that environment. I suppose mixing on phones has its immediate limitation when the end music is mostly going to be listened to on hi fi, or in a club, or car.

I can't mix on headphones. Just can't get anything like a proper balance. I always check mixes on them though.

There's a few 'phones which are OK, but really I think monitors, then check with cans is the most reliable way...

But REALLY, if you want mixes to sound good you need to check them on about 10 things (cars, **** headphones, out of a mobile's built in speaker, in mono, etc) Good mixes/masters tend to sound good on EVERYTHING... the closer you get to that the better...
