No Insurance query

    No Insurance query


    Can anybody please tell me, i was recently hit by a non insured driver and it has been more or less sorted though i am still waiting for my excess cover and loss of days from insurance company,

    but my own insurance company even thugh the did not tell me directly but did tell the Mibi that my no claims has not been effected , well there underwriting team are now saying i still need a letter from the Garda on the day but when i rang him he said that he can not give out a letter to say the person was not insired as it will have to go to court and i will have to wait till january 2012 for this, am i just been taken for a ride here or is ther anything else i can do

    The guard should be able to give you a letter to say that insurance has been demanded and not been produced.
