Every morning I have to pump the manual primer 30 times to get the diesel through other wise it wont start, I dont know if it is the filter or pump or
something else, would appreciate any advise.
Going to buy an new fuel filter tomorrow as the one on it looks old.

I'd be thinking the diesel in the fuel filter feed hose is leaking back to tank during the night.....not sure of your system but i'd say there should be a non-return valve/check valve in the fuel system that normally stops this from happening....maybe park it nosed down overnight as this will put the head pressure from the diesel tank greater that the fuel filter and inturn prevent priming in the morning....its worth a go...:)

Check the clips on the pipes on the filter that they are tight, I have replaced the odd primer which was drawing air in, prime it up tonight and clamp the pipes between the filter and the pump take them off in the morning and see do you need to prime it to start..
