I have my driving test in Donegal on Wednesday and I'm going to miss a lab so do I just send an e-mail to the lecturer explaining that or is there anything else I need to do?

Ask the lecturer to pass it on to the lab tutor, in fairness they are sound enough about stuff like that! Explain that you'll catch up on the work you missed aswell!
