    What do ye' think?

Do you find yourself clocking in at least 24hr per week being online and think it's normal?

Can't stop checking your email, Facebook notifications, or fapping yourself silly.
Dismissing household chores, neglecting hygiene or are you at that guy that says 'LOL' socially

Or do you tick the boxes on what I've mentioned but think it's just normal to spend that long online

Does that mean I'm addicted to my hand? :(

Yes- and I'm lucky my kids, my work and housework keep me away from it as otherwise I would be glued 24/7! I go between Boards, Facebook and Mumsnet - what a saddo :D

Lets just say in the two weeks I didn't have internet after moving house I read four books and painted.

As well as going for walks, baking etc.

My life would be pretty epic without the net I think.

For some reason I read your post in a voice over advert sort way. It feels like you're trying to sell me something?

Well we're all glad to see you sorted out that problem of temporary, healthy productivity increase and found your way back here.

By the Scientific definition of what makes an addiction an addiction, yes it exists. Some people seem to resent that though. The fact of the matter though is most everyone will find themselves addicted to one thing or another in life. There may or may not be a Physiological component to Internet addiction but it certainly is a Psychological addiction.
