When I was growing up Top Trumps were very popular. They are again now, but with all new sets of cards.

Back then, my favoutite sets were Western Gunfighters and the Horror sets, of which there were two: Devil Priest and Dracula.

Many of the cards were based on characters from well known horror movies, but some of them were not familiar to me.

So, here are are all of the cards. Can anyone guess which movies they are from?

Here they are, starting with the Dracula set...

... and continuing with the last few Dracula cards and into the Devil Priest set...

    ... and the last cards...

Do you know the movies they are from? Some are correct, some names actually belong to other cards, some are loosely based on a movie character, but slightly changed and some might be made up for all I know!

    man those cards look old.

A lot of them just look like generic monsters from hammer films and that kinda thing.. But others ive never heard of. Some seem to be comic book characters now sure why the likes of thor is classed as horror?

Still a cool set of cards. Must be very collectiable now.

Yeah, they're the most collectable of the Top Tumps sets.

I think that most of them are actually from horror movies. I recognise quite a few of them, but not all.

"Creature from Outer Space" = This Island Earth (1955)

That's a sci-fi movie btw (rather than horror). So maybe more of those yet unknown cards came from the sci-fi genre also?

(anyway cool to look at that retro deck. Don't remember the ones you had but I defo remember the western set. They were drawn/traced in much the same style).

12 out of 12. Really quite easy, any horror fan will have no problem getting them all first time round.
