    Can some kind person let me know if I book a rental car with the details below, am I fully comp insured? Thanks.

    Included in price
    collision damage waiver (cdw) no excess
    third party liability protection (tp)
    theft waiver (tw)
    tax
    airport fee
    unlimited mileage
    breakdown assistance

    And


    Avoid ALL Excess Charges for just €5.50 a day! Mondial Excess Insurance gives you complete peace of mind. Most companies charge an Excess, if you have a claim - typically you pay the first EUR 1,000

    Our Policy covers:

    Excess up to €3,000.00
    Windows
    Tyres
    Undercarriage
    Roof
    Rental car key cover up to €550.00
    Personal Possessions up to €300.00

    Mondial Assistance is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA)

    I would get the excess. Then you are fully sorted I would think. That €1,000 is a usual fee they charge if the car has some bit of a mark when you return it.

    There is no excess on the policy so do not pay extra to cover excess.
    If there was an excess of €1000 it would say so in the section I have highlighted.
    Personal possesions should be covered under your holiday insurance.
