    Evening guys,
Just looking to buy myself a Parrot car kit on ebay and I noticed you also have to buy a specific loom to enable it to be fitted to your car. I'm driving an '01 mk4 golf but I have an after market JVC radio/cd player in it. Will I be able to get a loom to connect the handsfree to it or does it have to be the original car stereo??

Any thing else that I'd need to watch out for?

    Thanks!

Nah, I've just waaaay too much time these days.

If you have an aftermarket Stereo in your car, you most likely have ISO connectors in there already, which means your Parrot should plug straight in with the loom it's normally supplied with.

the golf used the 2 standard ISO connectors anyway , you wont need any adaptors or anything for the car , great car kit and quick to install

Is go for a MKI 9200 if you like your music in the car. Just a thought as they have USB connectivity plus iPod/iPhone connections. Even for charging it's a bonus.

It does have an adaptor for some cars alright, parrot website would confirm it though.
