Logging out of Facebook is not enough

I've suspected this for a long time.
Dave Winer wrote a timely piece this morning about how Facebook is scaring him since the new API allows applications to post status items to your Facebook timeline without a users intervention. It is an extension of Facebook Instant and they call it frictionless sharing. The privacy concern here is that because you no longer have to explicitly opt-in to share an item, you may accidentally share a page or an event that you did not intend others to see.
    There's more...a lot more.

I deleted my FB profile a few weeks ago but needed to access other profiles/events/pages so I set up, what I thought was, an anonymous account. To my surprise FB almost immediately began recommending to me people I actually knew. So it turns out that FB isn't really logging you out when you log out, it's constantly tracking you, plus it's suspected that the FB 'Like' button that's on so many web pages is also reactivating FB cookies that can personally identify and track you.
