    Heya,

Ok quick question, I have a few small pin hole leaks in one of the pipes leading to a rad, the one just under it leading down into the floor. The dog was apparently trying to eat it :( so it's chewed and punctured. I tried a unibond putty thing but i can't stop the leak to get a dry area to put it on. Is there anything I can do myself or is it a call out the plumber job tomorrow? And if it is a plumber job, any idea how much I'm looking at to fix it? Oh its not the copper pipe its the plastic/rubber one, q pex??

ya its a job for a plumber unless you have a good knowledge of how to drain and refill a heating system and deal with any subsequent air locks.
This is simple job for plumber maybe 1 hour to 2 hours work depending on how easy it is to drain and refill.

Sounds like the pipe needs to be replaced so unless you have done this before yourself, you will need a plumber.

Mod snip: Please read Charter. Thanks
