Ps3 blank screen?

    This has happened 2 times now I was playing FIFA 12 demo then the screen just went blank then I would try press the off button on the ps3 and it won't work so I then have to plug out the plug for it to turn off why is this happening it is a ps3 slim and it is only 7 months old:confused: thanks

    Hold your finger on the power button for 5 seconds or more, that should reset the video resolution to low. If it doesn't work after that you could be in trouble. And obviously check the cables going from ps3 to tv etc.

    Anyone know why I can't launch any downloaded apps or demo games on a PS3 with broken Bluray drive?

    You should do anything but pull the plug. That's going to seriously banjax the HD :eek:
