Thanks for the link! I opend the "Dawes" page on their website (http://www.macdonaldcycles.ie/dawes.htm) but didn't find any info about prices, etc. Do you think I can find this info on their website? Thanks!

I've been commuting and doing the odd day-long trip on my old TREK 1000 which I bought circa. 2004.

The components have lasted well but I need to put a bit of cash into it and I am considering upgrading - I want to move from the racer frame because essentially - I don't race.

I'm looking into the Tifosi CK7C which you can get with a Campag group set but I also like the Dawes. I'm not delighted about the triple chainset though and the shifters are a bit ugly.

Anyway - I'd like to see one in the flesh so thanks for the link.

Penny Farthing in Camden Street also has quite a few Dawes, no idea if they have the Clubman. It does look like a nice bike.

Centro is the Irish importer/distributor for Dawes bikes but they don't carry the full range, bikes can be special ordered though, if you just want to have a look and are not sure about buying it could be difficult, it looks like a lovely bike though:D

    They're bicycle importers/wholesalers.

No prices though, I once e-mailed them about dawes prices, retailers but they never got back to me. I suppose any of their dealers should be able to sell you a dawes. After a quick look at the dealers listed for Dublin, I'd say Joe Daly's are good and I've seen dawes in there, thinkbike aren't bad either.

Also if none of the shop want to sell you the model you want because they don't stock it. Evans cycles do them on-line.

Not sure how extensive their range is but I bought my hybrid Dawes Discovery 301 in The Bike Rack on Johnstown Road in Cabinteely.
