Possible to disable the Blackboard PDF viewer?

On the new Blackboard, whenever I click into a PDF of lecture notes or assignments etc, it opens in this gammy little Blackboard Acrobat viewer rather than giving me the option to download it/open with my own PDF viewer. It's one of the super new features on this amazing new Blackboard they just had to install (because lecturers had such a good grasp of how to use the old one...).

I can Save As once it's opened in the browser, but lord knows that takes effort.

Honestly what is this crap. I just want to download the PDF rather than have to view it using about 60% of my screen.

Hi. Do you see this problem within the University PC Suites, or on own laptop?

Can you drop down to us or open a ticket at http://servicedesk.nuigalway.ie describing the specifics of the issue you're having and we'll look into it.

    Thanks,

    ISS Service Desk

    Both.

It isn't a malfunction, just a needless feature that I was hoping to disable.

Sorted, cheers. This is what I was trying before only I forgot to change it for both Acrobat and Foxit.

Nope that would just try and save a Javascript file or something.
