ATV2 problem

I have a jailbroken ATV2 which has suddenly and for no apparent reason ceased to work!

When I switch it on, nothing appears on the tv screen. THe light is on solid on the front of the unit. I have unplugged it to do a full restart to no avail.

I have also held down the 'menu' and 'play' buttons on the remote which seems to do a restart also, but as it reboots I can see the apple logo on the tv screen, as the front light goes on and off. But as soon as the reboot is complete, the tv screen goes blank.

I have no idea what to try next. I don't want to do a full reset/restore and undo the jailbreak as it has taken me quite a while to get it working the way I want it.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to try?

    Thanks!

I had a similar problem when I first jailbroke, the only solution I found was to restore and jailbreak again.

it's caused because you didnt install updatebegone

    Hey, thanks for the replies.

I did have updatebegone installed (99% sure but can't check!).

Anyway, I'll do the restore and jailbreak again. Hate the thoughts of having to do it as it took me a long time to get it working the way I wanted and the plugins I wanted installed.

    Thanks for the tips.
