    Just wondering has anyone used Tor, its a free download that gives you different ip address from all around the world. i just want to know can you select a country you want an ip from?

    If you are looking to stream audio/video that is region locked then best looking for another option.

    TOR works but is SLOW, this is mainly on purpose since privacy is more important then speed.

    Yes it's free and you can it from first link on Google for TOR.

    Edit:

    Reading you other post, one warning EVEN use a Credit Card over TOR!!!
    Just because the traffic between nodes is encrypted does not need the last hop before it goes back onto the internet is no monitoring / records EVERYTHING you do......

    TOR is indeed slow. If you have no other option, that's one thing. If you have good broadband, try a VPN (virtual private network) instead. VPNs are much faster, and much more secure if you choose a trustworthy service.

    im just trying to get an irish ip but tor is a disaster, you have to keep clicking new identity to get a different ip and then keep checking your ip.:mad:

    does anyone know of any irish proxies? or any way to get the vpn?

    Buy a VPS and setup openvpn yourself. The most straight way ;)
