Hi, Just wondering, the flights to New Zealand, that go through London and LA, do you need to apply for an ESTA to go through America (it stops for a few hours) or what's the deal with that? Hi,

Just wondering, the flights to New Zealand, that go through London and LA, do you need to apply for an ESTA to go through America (it stops for a few hours) or what's the deal with that?

[I looked up the ebookers site, and the FAQ gives a link to the american site that allows you to apply online for the ESTA, takes moments, and it's only $14, and gives you entrance to USA I think, so i think this will cover me, for the flight into LA and out to NZ - I guess the American's have their protocols! ]
