Hi is there any good gym in Thurles area ?
Thurles leisure centre is poor(too small,no squat machine, no bench machine, no pullups no chinups,etc...) Anner Hotel is even worse. Any suggestions ?
Is Horse and Jockey hotel gym any good ? Or the best choice is Duneske Cahir ? Thanks for any ideas !

I know a good few who are members of the place in Borroway in Thurles (I was too in my pre-lazy days).

It's more a weight lifting club that a traditional gym but you dont have to have arms bigger than your head to join.

The facility is fairly basic but it has all the right stuff there.

Worth a look and it doesn't have any sort of time restrictions either as you can let yourself in whenever suits you.

My parents live near there so I am back on a fairly regualar basis and was wondering what the facilities are like here. Do you have to be a member before you can go or do they have a pay-as-you-go type entry?
