There's something hilarious about Manu's mannerisms.. He reminds me of a Frank Oz/Jim Henon character. He's like a big puppy and doesn't realize the importance of the game - or more to the point just enjoys the game, which is refreshing!!

Is it just me or has the 'minnows' games become really boring this week? Possibly down to conditioning? The smaller teams seem to have simply run out of steam and are don't look like they're interested in even trying to win the game. The Romanians kicking for points against a 50+ game versus the Japanese rush defensive effort against France?

very easy win for uk, was more a one sided game,romania where poor ,but have too laugh at itv going on about how good england performance,as wasnt hard too have a good performance againist a poor side,but itv are really milking it :rolleyes:

It is exactly what England needed I think. Chance to pass the ball through everyone's hands and run some lines. The England players looked in a really good mood afterwards - the demeanor and body language suggested a pretty happy camp. So hopefully just that fact alone will turn things around

Have to laugh at the comments all the time from people watching England matches on English stations and complaining about a "love in". It's an ENglish station catering for an English audience. Not all countries are as self depricating as the Irish.

Yeah,I suppose even the Irish commentators get carried away sometimes but the comment at the end of the match"a breathless finish to a breathless match" was absolutely staggering in its absurdity and actually made me laugh with incredulity.
