White MacBook Unibody - 2010 Version

    Hey guys, I have the white macbook unibody october 2010 version.

    I accidentally hit my magic mouse against it and now I have a chip on the side of it. The chip is very tiny but I love keeping my MacBook as clean as a whistle.

    Is there any cheap way to repair this without replacing the whole unibody itself?

    I still have warranty on it for another 6 months so I'm hoping any authorized apple retailer might replace it free of charge?

    Please help :confused:

    Unless you can somehow convince them it's a defect and not user-inflicted damage, they won't. The warranty doesn't cover stuff like that.

    A small crack isn't really a big deal now is it?
    I can't see them accepting this as a fault with the machine itself, but it's worth giving Apple a call and see, But it's not really worth the trouble you'll have to just fix something so small!
    Also, how hard did you hit it with the mouse?
    You must have hit it with a bit of force to actually chip the plastic!
