I'm the opposite, I really like their tribal dance (i'm not sure if it's the haka) before any of their matches. It's something different to the smile, look at me walk

Its more of a warrior dance, all those pacific islands have their own versions.

I like it as D2D says its something different to the jumping about and smiles before matches

    Care to elaborate?

Absolutely no one cared about them before they started doing it.

A universal law is that the haka gets over in any genre.

Dont see the problem really bar their inital gimmick but who remembers that?

I find it pretty lame too. When you've seen it done by big nasty looking New Zealand rugby players and then see the Usos doing it...just comes across as weak to me. If they were a stronger team like say the Wild Samoans were then it could work well but I can't see this getting them over to a significant extent. The aim of these dances is to intimidate and they just don't look very intimidating imo.

    Its pretty cool.

The Uso's have improved a lot in the ring since their debut. Anyone who thinks different I would say watch their matches with Gabriel and Slater.

The Uso's are suffering from the same things guys like Mark Henry suffer from, people remember what they used to be like instead of giving credit to them for where they are now. The Uso's debuted very early and with no experience but they have learned a lot while traveling with WWE and are now an exciting tag team.

I particularly like how they have used their Samoan heritage to make themselves stand out. I also like how they use moves from their Dad, Uncle and other family members that people are familiar with and nobody else is doing.

It's ridiculous and should be left to the rugby players. The dance they perform is the pre-rugby match one (Ka Mate) and in any case is a Maori dance, not a Samoan one. WWE are so ignorant. Incidentally, if you trawl youtube you can find footage of high school football teams in the States, who have adopted this for no other apparent reason than it looks cool. That's the yanks all over!

Its not a maori Dance - its samoan. Samoans perform the Siva Tau.

The Uso's perform it too (They have done other dances but it was the siva tau this week, is usually the siva tau).

Listen to the words - Le Manu Samoa.

Well I didn't see that but they have done Ka Mate and they shouldn't be doing it.

If the war dance they do is portrayed as respecting their Polynesian back ground I don't see the problem.

id agree and I agree with the earlier point about it being different and seperating them from others. Similarily I was also impressed by them during their brief rivalry with Gabriel & Slater and think that if the WWE use them right they could help recreate a decent teg division.

They do multiple double team moves, have a USP (unique selling point), WWE lineage and an interesting look so I dont see why the WWE cant do something with them

Id like to point out, I actually like the Uso's I just dont like them doing the Haka, The Haka also isnt just newzealand its the war dance, The Samoan haka is called Sivi Tau, New Zealand Ka Pango & Ka Mate to the best of my knowledge

I like it, but for it to have any reall effect they should do it in the ring before the match rather than the top of the ramp.

Of course, that probably is not too realsitic as the heel team would just beat them up mid way through.

    never mind.

As long as he doesn't do those Keesh promo's he did in Tna which were just woeful Rock tributes

I like it. it's unique and gives them something to be remembered for. it's certainly better than their old gimmick of "not the typical Samoans" if you can call that a gimmick at all. i think they'd be really over if they got pushed. they can always work a crowd with that U-So thing they do
