I haven't bought any of the cardigans in there at the moment, but I have in the past bought 7 cardigans from Penny's and they're all still frequently worn. So their life-span quality is good. As for the quality of the material, I've always found it to be pretty good too, as long as you don't tumble dry woolens they keep their shape and texture long-term, and they're really soft.

I love their cardigans and t shirt/long sleeve tops, they are the basis of most of my everyday outfits, good quality, keep their shape and colour no matter how many times I was them.

Pennys is a bit hit and miss on some of their wollen items, i think anyway. I got one of the long mustard colour cardigans there last week and after one wash it is not looking great. The knit looks kind of loose now... And i only put it on a 30degree wash. But i bought a knit jumper there about a year ago and its still in good shape. Zara have some great quality knits at the mo. I know its a bit more expensive than penneys but worth the investment imo.

The best place to go for cardigans is H&M. They have loads of styles and and colours and good prices.

I find Penneys cardigans a bit hit and miss. Often fine until you wash them.
