I think there should be a limit on the number of female Gardaí

I was watching Road Wars there on TV and there was 5 English police breaking into a drug dealers home. There was 1 man and 4 women. I think that is unfair, if I was the male officer I would want big men to be beside me.

For the vast majority of history, men have held these type of physical and dangerous jobs. Look at the army, it has only been since less than 50 years ago have women been introduced into the army. But still, looking at the Olympics and physical sports they show men are quicker when running, the can lift more, are physically stronger, can punch harder. These type of jobs, are meant for at least medium-build men.

What do ye think? Imagine a scenario like the one I presented above, where the purpose of the job comes to the fore.

It's not PC to mention natural physical differences between the sexes and the advantages/disadvantages they play in specific careers.

Vancouver women cops are much more adept at such roles. Whereas UK women always require male assistance, ultimately... But if they insist...

Theres a lot more to being a gaurdian of the peace than punching, running and lifting. Maybe female officers could be better with people than male gaurds.

In situations of chasing / restraining i've seen uk coppers woefully out of their depth, but the Vancouver ones I saw can take care of everything

i saw 2 ban guards try arrest a lad one night in town, he laughed at them and just kept walkin! they could do nothin and as far as i saw he got away.

I think they should stop lettin ugly girls into the guards, iv only seen a handfull of decent lookin ones, the rest are butch lesbian types:eek:

About a year ago, I saw a big strong fat ****er being thrown out of a nightclub in Limerick. It took about 4 bouncers to get him out the door, and they were struggling to keep him out. 2 female Guards were passing, one gives him a smack of the baton across the back of the knees, they drag him down, slap the cuffs on, and one sits on him while they wait for the paddywagon to arrive.

So, ya, don't judge the Guard by its gender. I wouldn't **** with them bitchez

Im female and I agree with you. I am all for womens rights and will argue them to the end but this is where I think womens lib has gone too far. Female police officers or soldiers cant do the same job as males simple as, they cant physically match a man and never will be able to and they put everyone around them and especially their partners in jeopardy by trying.
