When you sell a site , is it up to the solicitor to advise you of capital gains tax implications or is that your own to sort out? sold a site I inherited a few years ago and revenue are after contacting me about CGT , this land I originally inherited off my parents and at that time I got a certificate of discharge from captial acquisitions but when I sold it on I didnt get one. Does he solicitor usually sort all this out?

    Any advise welcome thanks
