    They say on the news that the € is going to be replaced after Xmas, how likely is that to happen and what will happen? will going back to our own currency help promote competition in the euro zone and help us rebuild? thought any one

    I watched and read quite a lot of news today and I didn't hear/read that. News programs are usually available online, so which one was it?

    Just listened to the 2FM news at 11. It's just after the beginning of the recording for th Colm Hayes show on the 23rd from here http://2fm.rte.ie/previously_played

    Not only does it not say what you claim it doesn't mention the Euro at all.

    Yep, a new currency called the Deutschmark. I hear it's all the rage in Germany right now.
