    anyone know a good source of 2nd hand gear other than the obvious adverts & ebay? there isn't much on adverts these days,

    are there other forums out there?

    looking specifically for a good jacket... (quicksilver/burton/billabong or similar)

    also looking for some snowboarding boots,

    I dunno if its any use to you but I have a medium ski jacet from Lidl that I'd be willing to part with.

    Only used it for a week, has a sewn in balaclava, zip on hood and a control system for an ipod with the buttons along your left forearm, basically you plug the provided wire into the ipod, place the ipod in the inner brest pocket and then you have control of your music on the slopes.

    Would let it go for 50e, gonna look for a picture but PM if any interest.

    Check tk maxx, that's where I've gotten all my stuff, their top brands too and cheap :D

    i bought myself a meduim from tk maxx last year,
    very good jacket alright, at a very good price,

    size wize, it's grand for wearing here in the winter when it's cold outside etc.
    but i wore it boarding last year and it was a little restrictive, need to go for a large, but thanks for the offer,

    i reckon i'll tip down to tk maxx over the weekend,
    they seem to be getting the gear in around now,
